Are you interested in science, technology, or math? Maybe you want to teach or spend time helping others? Being a Registered Nurse (RN) may be the career path for you! Nurses travel around the country, fly in helicopters and planes, and provide care for patients in a wide variety of settings, including hospitals, schools, homes, clinics, and disaster locations. Join the University of Arizona Medical Center (UAMC)-University Campus for UAMC Camp SCRUBS, a weeklong look at the many roles in which nurses function while caring for patients. Campers will shadow nurses on patient care units and learn about the important work nurses do. While at Camp SCRUBS, you’ll learn first-aid skills and become certified in CPR. What an exciting way to spend a summer week!
