Program News

The Arizona Universities Network (AZUN)

AZUN is a program designed to provide seamless registration services for students desiring to take distance courses offered by any of the three state universities (UA, ASU, or NAU).

To register, University of Arizona students contact the AZUN coordinator in Outreach College, who will process their enrollment at the proper institution. ASU and NAU courses taken through AZUN are considered transfer courses.

Spotlight

Spanish Medical Translation Online

SPAN 410 provides guided practice in the successful completion of professional translation tasks involving authentic texts commonly translated into Spanish in the medical domain. The online course follows a workshop design and is particularly useful to practicing professionals with no formal translation education as well as to those interested in pursing careers in translating, interpreting and cross-cultural communication.

The course is 3 credit-hours and is eligible for ATA (American Translators Association) continuing education points.
